The Global Village

Hello our dear friends! :-)

We are AIESEC UPLB and we are a global, non-political, independent, not-for-profit organization run by students and recent graduates of institutions of higher education. Our members are interested in world issues, leadership and management. AIESEC does not discriminate on the basis of race, colour, gender, sexual orientation, creed, religion, national, ethnic or social origin.

Global Village, is a tradition held by AIESEC entities around the world, which aims to promote social sustainability, world awareness, and cultural understanding by showcasing different cultures across the globe and celebrating diversity among people in one day. From traditional clothing to local cuisine, the event gives people a sneak peek of the cultures that that they will encounter when they go on exchange.

There will be booths where locals from various countries will be promoting their culture and sharing facts and trivia about their country. In this effort to bring our people, our culture and other cultures together, our event will be held on September 21, 2016 at the University of the Philippines campus. The Global Village is free and open to everyone :-)
