The gift of Vision this Ramadan – Naju

As salamu alaikum everyone!

Hope you are all having a great Ramadan.

This year I wanted to raise money for a cause thats really unique and touched me deeply.

As you may know, Cataract affects millions worldwide, often the vulnerable, poor and needy suffer most.

Its a simple, quick, procedure, however due to insufficient health care systems, poverty and lack of information available, some people stay blind all their life - when they could be given perfect vision!

With little money to buy the necessities, no funds remain to visit the doctors or get a simple medication. I need your help this Ramadan to raise $600! IT costs just $50 for an easy cataract procedure in Bangladesh.

With your donations, someone can see this world again! The money goes towards their eye operation, as well as travel expense, check ups and their prescriptions for their eyes. Rest assured every penny is given to those who are most in need.

Greater Lamakazi Welfare association which kicked off in the smaller towns back home, then expanded out to London, where hundreds gather annually and work hard to fund raise, in their schools, unis, workplace and muslim communities. This year we have reach New York, with volunteers fundraising from America to help those on the other side of the globe subhanAllaah!
