Campaign Story
Humble Greetings to all. I am Thami, Secretary of WBT Agri-group. We are based in Familiehoek in the Mpumalanga Province. Our organisation is engaged in Crop/Vegetable Production and livestock farming. Our organisation is owned by 2 previously disadvantaged individuals and 2 Afrikaners. We have a 18 ha vegetable project where we produce Spinach, cabbage, pumpkins, Potatoes, Tomatoes, Sweet Corn, Green Beans.
Our Vision is to increase the food supply in our province and to supply our neighboring countries who are in need of food. Our Mission is to create an Agri-industrial zone in our area that will service the SADAC Nations, and other African countries that are in need of nutritious food by 2028
Our production challenges include climate change and Irrigation Assets. The Climate in our are is similar to that of Canada, therefore we are unable to produce all year round due to the frost that we have, this affects winter production. Secondly our irrigation system limits us to produce to our desired expectations.
Our Social programs include charitable donations to several primary schools around our area that have orphans to feed. and we also service some churches that do charity work.
We are the future of food security... The Nation needs Nutritious Food and we are available for the task!!!
