Hi, my name is Sascha Suter

I am rebuilding a Datsun 240z S30 Series 1 from 1971.
While doing this, I'm going full JDM Style.
This car has been my dream car since I came into the car scene. My neighbour had one and I always wanted to own one myself. In Switzerland this car is unbelievably rear. I attended the Datsun group of Europe and found out that we are only about 10 owners all over Switzerland. So I imported one from Utah, United States. Since then I'm working hard on rebuilding it, to one day fulfill my dream and drive it.

Another dream of mine had always been to install an Arride System or better known as Air-Suspension, which is an important step, when getting into the show car scene, so I got in contact with a few sellers in Switzerland, to combine the Datsun dream and the Suspension dream and build the first Bagged Datsun 240z!:D

Well the issue is, that in Switzerland, where I live and work on the car, there are very strict regulations, about what is allowed to do to the car and what not. You have to have certain documentations for specific car parts, and there are no certificates, which give me the permission to bag the car. The only way to get a certificate is, to give the car to a certified Dynamic Test Center, which are the only authority by law to grant this Arride Performance kit. This is sooo expensive here in Switzerland. They want to charge me 10000 CHF for the inspection and testings of this suspension. You might need to know, that the Government of Switzerland is working against the ideology of us Car guys. It's a fact, that they charge this much, to prevent us from tuning cars. It is unfair and if you had to rate how strict regulations are here on scale from 1 to 10 (when 1 stands for the US and 10 for Germany) then in Switzerland we are at a 30 at best.

Anyways...

Since the suspension system of a Datsun 240z is very different from normal cars, this upgrade kit is not available for this car. Not even Airlift produces an Air-Suspension for the 240z, since it's not a common car and Airlift is the most well known seller for air suspensions worldwide. But I found a Swiss company called "Sportex-Tuning", which would customise an air suspension for this car. I'm in brief contact with the CEO of this company and he made the suggestion, that they would take the costs for the development of the Arride System, since they think it's a great project in general and they like the idea of bagging a Datsun 240z. Therefore i got their support, and now I need yours too, so the government gives me the permission to use the air-suspension on public roads

Simply said, this project is about legaly installing an Air-Suspension on a Datsun 240z.

This is the first time that I'm attending a Crowd funding program and I would be happy about any donation, no matter how much you donate.

If you're not interested in donating but want to keep up with the car project, or if you like to donate and want to see where the money is going, you can either way follow my instagram page Yasuke_z, where I post the latest news and progress.
