The fight continues

Chloe is a 30 years-old and a native of Los Angeles, CA. we found out that our dear friend and work colleague diagnosed with brain cancer, this has come as a total shock to her family and friends.Prior to being diagnosed with brain cancer, she worked as a event coordinator.

She always maintained a healthy lifestyle with good nutrition exercise and she is one of the most fun-loving, bravest and fittest people we know. Her project event coordinator was stressful at times, but she accepted the stress as part of the job.

On Sunday, March 05, 2017, she had a grand mal seizure. Her parents were visiting from out of town and immediately called 911 for assistance. The paramedics arrived and transported her to the emergency room. The doctors did a CAT scan and found a brain tumor on the left parietal side of her brain.

The medical diagnosis hit very close to home because her sister, as well as her grandfather both passed away from a glioblastoma (GBM) brain tumor. After watching two people that she loved go through their battle, we know that without a doubt She was ready to face the challenge ahead. She knew the severity of the disease and the extensive medical treatment that it would require.

Shortly thereafter, She was referred to a medical oncologist and a radiation oncologist at Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute for chemotherapy and radiation treatment. My doctors sent my pathology reports to MD Anderson and UCLA Medical Center for further review. Upon receiving the results, it was determined I had a grade-4 glioblastoma tumor (GMB). Glioblastoma tumors spread quickly and are the most invasive type of brain tumor. Due to the severity of a GBM-4, we needed to act immediately to keep the tumor from spreading.

I am certain that everybody who knows Chloe will concur that she needs and deserve our adoration and support like never before. The hospital expenses are now coming in and will keep on adding up; in this way we are connecting with our amazing and strong network of family and companions to help in at anyway. Each gift is enormously refreshing and will be a gigantic help to Chloe. In short any donations you could offer would improve things greatly to this family.
