The Fiesta Challenge

There is no story without a structure and there is no story without beginning, development and ending. Our story started on the 9th March 2019 where we have an opportunity to the young prospective musicians and invited them for "Be Tikka Banda for a Day", it was all self-funded, organised by our own potentials, delivered workshops by our internal tuition and shared our musical experiences. This was the beginning of a journey, which our emails were overwhelmed by parents thanking us for this opportunity which we gave to their loved ones! We sat down, and planned a structure, brainstormed our ideas and pointed out a lack of opportunities which we were not offered when we were younger and developed our story to the next level!

We are working to start a new platform to prospective professional musicians which are derived from the traditional marching band elements. A youth ensemble for those emerging artists who would like to experience and perform music within a creative and professional set-up.

So here’s our challenge - The Fiesta Challenge. All you have to do is post a video of you, your band, your group singing alone or any music group playing the Maltese popular festive March “Fiesta” (aka Perper Bandiera). The video can be new or one that already exists. Once done share your post far and wide, challenge 3 of your friends and please, please donate at least €10.00 to the ‘Fiesta Challenge GoGetFundMe page (don’t forget to share the link to those that you challenge).

Let’s show everyone what we can do when we work together: All donations will be spent in logistical and administrative materials to engage the more emerging artist in our next upcoming project which will offer youth musicians a platform that is a must for emerging performers in Malta searching for a professional setting within which they can grow.
