The Fame (Japan Deluxe Edition)

Hi all,

I purchased The Fame (Japan Deluxe Edition) for US$45 from an eBay seller located in Australia on September 11th 2018. It was to be a birthday gift to myself.

Though I'm located outside of the US, the CD was to be shipped to a family member (in Atlanta, Georgia US). According to the seller, he mailed the CD and told me that it might take awhile to reach my Atlanta address due to Australian mail service being quite slow.

A couple weeks later, he contacted me and told me the CD had been sent back to him. He thought perhaps he’d written my address incorrectly, so I gave him my address again. On October 12th he told me that he’d sent the package by express mail.

Seeing as Australian mail service is a bit slow, I gave the CD extra time to arrive. And due to giving the CD extra time to arrive to the Atlanta address, I'm now no longer covered by the eBay money back guarantee.

During the past 2 months (since October 12th), I’ve sent numerous messages to the seller on eBay and Gaga Daily (the music forum I met him on), but none of them have been answered.

I'm not accusing the seller of conning me. There may be a logical explanation as to why I haven't received the CD. However - whatever the reason - it’s clear it’s never coming.

I'm sad that I may end up losing the money I spent of the CD, but I'm even more devastated that I'm not getting the CD. I've wanted this piece of Gaga memorabilia for many years and it's quite rare to find a sealed copy.

I know everyone's a bit strapped for cash - especially this time of year - but any help would be appreciated please. ☺

UPDATE: I finally got in touch with the seller and he's issued a refund. According to him, he mailed the CD twice but it was returned to him both times. I'm not sure why it was returned. When I purchased the CD from him in September, I also purchased other items from eBay and had them sent to that same Georgia address successfully. Bottom line, he's not going to sell me the CD.

I've found a sealed copy of the CD online, but it's for US$140. I know that's a crazy amount but like I said this is my #1 most coveted Gaga memorabilia. I'm hoping to raise US$ 50 to help pay for the CD, shipping and customs duties once it arrives to my country. Any help would be appreciated please. Thank you in advance. ^_^
