Campaign Story
From Zoe:
My dear friends - Thank you all for your thoughts, prayers, offers of help. I truly don't know what I'll need. My thoughts are random and scattered. I know I will need help for Jorma. He drained his bank account to get out here, and he goes back to school soon. No rent. And now of course he won't be working for who knows how long.
GR friends, GR music community, please be there for Jorma. Hell. Play a fucking benefit show ya'll. Knowing you are behind him will help me.
Portland friends - My Connor is going to be fragile for a while. I will need help with/for him in the coming days.
I love each and every one of you. Jim loved you all as well. All who knew anything about him knows that his family and his friends were the truly important components of his life. He loved us all with all that he was. He really was an incredibly special guy. Never be another one like him.

Thank you and some details
Update posted by Christine Stephens at 07:09 pmHi friends. It's amazing what we've raised so far--thank you, everyone!! We're asking for a little more help if you can manage it, a new goal of $5,000. The cremation alone is $1700, and then there's Jorma's plane ticket and other expenses. Anything you can give will be a great

Dear Zoe and family, We are so shocked and saddened to hear this news. Jim was a friend and a colleague, who always stood in solidarity with the innocent victims of any type of injustice. We are made poorer by his death. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

To the family of Jim, I am Kelly and I lived next door to Don McAdams while Jim did his apprenticeship. I was the karmi girl next door. :). We were always friends. I just got back in touch through Facebook and Don. I laughed out loud at some of his references to the old Krishna days. Jim as you already know was just a good hearted guy. I know we will all miss him. Blessings to you all.

Jim was such a force in helping me get started in cycling. Always willing to twist a wrench or offer some advice. We are all poorer for his loss. Take care, Zoe...
