The Egyptian Ramadan

During the month of Ramadan 2019 I travelled across Egypt visiting 20 cities in just under 30 days. I travelled alone and only local means if transport to try and connect more with my fellow Egyptians. The main purpose if this journey was to help small businesses achieve proper online presence on the internet.

As a photographer and filmmaker myself I thought the best way to give back the community during the month of kindness was to offer my services to those whom need it most. Things didn't end there I also tried to showcase the beauty of Egypt during Ramadan and how different it was from one city to the next. In addition to a daily blog www.thedeeeva.com/blog explaining the experience of traveling for one month straight across Egypt.
All of this was funded personally as a gift back to society, but there is more I want to achieve from this trip. After all the conversations, places, and people I've met I genuinely think there is more to give back.
And this is where i need your help, during my journey I've captured a-lot of pictures portraying what Egypt really is as well as a daily sunset time-lapse in each city visited signifying the time of Iftar and its significance to all the fasting souls across the world.
The next step is to create an Exhibition to include the pictures and videos taken during this trip. The purpose is to create a similar artistic journey through the different cities of Egypt and using all of the profits created from this exhibition to fund workshops that teach photography in each of those cities.
My dream is to educate enough individuals capable if helping their community look its best online but also share their countries beauty creatively.
I need you help to fulfill this dream, and hopefully next Ramadan a different exhibition would be created not to show case what I've captures but to show everyone what the enthusiast creatives of each city are capable of.
