The Dream is still alive!

It's the little Blessings that help us to see just how lovely life can be.... We need help to save a very special learning centre in South Africa. Almost 10 years ago, I saw what a difference real love, understanding and care can make in the lives of kids. Especially kids, who don't really have a lot in life. So, I decided to open a learning centre with a difference in my community. Graffiti learning centre strive to give the children in our care a home away from home, with a total support system in place. We believe in small group education, where a child can develop as an individual with his or her own unique learning style. We want to meet the needs of each child. Graffiti is a place where we build good self-esteem, Christian values and principals, and skills to survive when they leave our save nest. We offer pre-school education, transport service, after school care, homework support (extra classes) and holiday programs to keep kids save and off the streets. We are situated in a community where people suffer financially, where families can't keep up with the rising daily cost and where we see more and more children on the streets, while there are drug dealers in our parks and on our street corners. We know that even miracles take a little time... and therefore we will continue as long as we can to follow this dream of making a difference in each child in our community's life. We want to invite children to come and join our holiday programs and after school support programs, but we need your help. We need $8000 to make this dream a reality. To enrich the lives of all the children, not only the ones whose families can afford to pay for this service, a dream to make sure all children in our community got at least one healthy cooked meal a day. We believe that dreams can come true, and we believe that God will touch your hearts, and we believe that every child deserves love and care. We DREAM BIG and we BELIEVE DREAMS COME TRUE. We want to make a BIG DIFFERENCE in the lives of CHILDREN.
