We are trying to start a charity that will help single mothers with cancer pay bills and live a somewhat normal life. The issue with most charities is that they will only help with one bill every 6 months. Eventhough this helps, it does not suffice for a lot of cancer survivors who can not work for an extended period of time.
Instead of doing a one-time fundraiser to benefit our dear friend Heather Deering, we would like to start a charity in her honor that would be able to touch more lives in the future. Starting a charity would allow friends, family, and businesses to donate while receiveing a tax deduction, thus opening the doors to larger donations.
To start a charity we need money. THIS IS WHY WE ARE DOING A FUNDRAISER!
