I am Grace Ampofo, the West African Food Security Ambassador for Thought For Food [TFF] and the USAID YouthLead who is impacting my community positively through service, activism, advocacy, and entrepreneurship. We would kindly like you to be part of this change
In Ghana, almost 50% of the population are food insecure [NAFCO][MOFA]. More than one in every five household's had inadequate diets and poor food consumption before bed [WFP].
Food security is achieved when there is easy access to sufficient, safe, affordable, nutritious food is present at all times.
Community gardens provide access to affordable, nutritious, and diversified local food, that can increase food intake, smooth consumption and represent savings, enabling household's to have easy access to fresh, sustainable, and nutritious food and purchase other household essentials.
Your donation will help support us build sustainable drip irrigation gardens across communities in Ghana, to eradicate household's food insecurity and malnutrition.
Your donation will cover: Plots, Seeds, fence, drip irrigation systems, Garden Tools, insurance, cold storage shed, Field preparation, compost, Produce wash station
Kindly share our fundraising with friends, family, colleagues, and neighbours. the more people who see our page, the more likely we are to put smiles on the face of those who go to bed hungry.
