MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN SOMEONE'S DAY,
A 1,000 PhP DONATION WON'T MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE IN YOURS. (donations are in Pesos)
One of my friends told me many times: "we won't die of the virus, we will die of hunger"!
Let's help!
The purpose of our fundraiser is to cook free meals for the El Nidonians in need.
El Nido tourism suddenly stopped because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Most of El Nido residents were left overnight without income, and many families have nothing to survive. We have been confined for more than 2 months.
We hope that some wealthier and generous souls can send some donations.
500PhP OR 1,000PHP would be a huge support.
One week of free cooked dishes is 65,800PhP.
The cash flow will be 100% transparent and reported on the Facebook page:
https://web.facebook.com/thecommunalpot.
We will list the donations, and the daily expenses, as well as the number of meals offered.
I hope you can trust The Communal Pot idea, which is to support the most impoverished by the Covid-19 situation.
The meals distribution started on June 8 and will last for five weeks, and hopefully, longer, as long as we have funds...
