The Chiki Wedding

Hi! my name is Edgar, i´m a Venezuelan living in Argentina with my feyonce Daniela, we are in this country because we have to run from the economical disaster that my country is currently living. We are known as the chikis... thats our cute name for each other, we´ve been together for 5 years. We have been separated from our families and friends for 9 months and counting. Because of the huge step we took as a couple by leaving our lifes behind and starting from scratch in another country, i´ve decided to propose to my beautifull girlfriend. I won a photo shoot for couples through facebook by telling our story to the photografer, about how we left everything behind and how we rented a tiny apartment and were sleeping in a inflatable bed... i was telling this story and it came too me, what if i surprise Dani in the middle of the session and bend the knee asking her to be my wife, while everything is getting phtographed... the photographer loved the idea and i won the photoshoot.

My idea for the fundraiser came because, we are alone in Argentina with zero family, and i would love to surprise her again by raising enough money so we can go to our country Venezuela fro a few days organize the wedding, and celebrate it there with our parents. It would mean the world for us.

Besides that my sister with my two nieces, left Venezuela about a year ago, and neither my or my father havent seen these sweet kids in all that time, that and me and my sister leaving Venezuela left my father with a proffound depression, now living day by day by taking some antidepression pills.

We dont want a huge wedding, the amount is because of the flight tickets, i would love to surprise my sister and my parents by giving her tickets to go to Venezuela also and celebrate the wedding with us. That would be awesome....

I´m being honest and profund about our situation, we are working and saving also, but this would be a huge help to us.
