The Eco Scholarship is a scholarship initiative of Dr. Mauro Allan P. Amparado. He is the Director, Community Awareness, Relations & Extension Services of the University of Cebu Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue, Mandaue City, Cebu, Philippines. Poor and deserving students are assigned at the Materials Recovery Facility to segregate wastes and sell recyclables. The program started in 2015. Since its implementation, the program has made a profit of P304,924.50. The sales has supported the tuition fees and miscellaneous fees of our scholars. As of 2018, two scholars have finished their respective programs in Maritime Education.
This program has been a sustainable financial support for our scholars. But we need your help for other expenses like scholars' daily allowance, meals, projects, school uniforms, and other related expenses. You can help and make a difference to the lives of our scholars.
