The Cannon Beach Academy Fundraiser

Cannon Beach Elementary School was closed this year. Seaside School District's School Board made this decision. Because of this closure, our children will now be bussed to Seaside Height Elementary School, some 9 miles away.

We are creating this school in order to allow parents to be involved with their child’s education.Many of the families in our community have both parents fully employed.Traveling 18-20 miles would, for some families, make interaction with their child during the school day difficult, if not impossible.

An elementary school, in the community, helps ensure equal access for all children to their parents.

The only way we can build a school is if the entire community gives. Gives till it hurts a little bit. In time, money or both. If we do? If everyone can pitch in just a bit. We can create something amazing.
