About the campaign
This book is intended for an English-speaking audience, but is written in Lithuanian, one of the most ancient languages in the world, as the author best expresses her thoughts in her native language. The goal of this campaign is to arrange the fundraising for the professional translation of the book into the English language to introduce it to the global audience.
The cost of the professional translation and editing is USD 8500, part of which will be covered by author’s personal funds, the remaining part, as expected, will be funded thanks to the campaign under your support.
After collecting the necessary funds, the book will be translated into English by a professional translator and edited by a professional native-speaker of English; then, the layout of the book will be designed and it will be published as a special issue (e-format) exclusively for the sponsors of the campaign. You will receive an e-book version in English by September 30, 2020.
We are extremely happy to grant you an opportunity to be the first ones who read this piece of literature in English.
It is a transformative, mind-expanding work of fiction for teenagers and self-conscious adults about the acquaintance between a human and a thought, inviting readers to rise to the observer’s level. In this adventure-filled story, the metaphorical narrative presents various mental and mindfulness exercises, intertwined with existential philosophy revealing a different version of the Universe. Everyday life situations are interestingly intertwined with metaphysics, quantum physics, the materialization of thoughts, and young people’s search for their life calling.
Genre: fantasy, existential philosophy.
Mission of the book: to help young adults broaden their imagination, encourage them to focus on their inner world, and reveal the connection of processes taking place in the human brain and the outside world.

‘Your perfect planet is the only place where everything is wonderful. I see my brothers and sisters who have materialised everywhere around. All thoughts wish to be grounded.’
‘What? Why?’ Aurora asked, incredulous.
‘Because it’s cool. It’s incomparably better than being an electric impulse. More interesting. More ingenious. I seem to remember how Axon was preparing to become this beauty,’ - Eightbird pointed with its wing towards the newly built glass office building next door, a stark contrast to Aurora’s loft built half a century ago. ‘I remember he had put together a massive team of thoughts.’
‘What does it mean - to become grounded?’ the teenager interrupted bird‘s narrative wanting to better understand what he was jabbering on about.
‘There are many ways of becoming grounded. It is possible to become a body – incarnate, also object-ate, sound-ate, plant-ate, animal-ate and... so on,’ the peculiar creature stopped abruptly, tired of naming. ‘Personally, I would like to object-ate or sound-ate, but I don’t seem to be able to choose between these two dreams,’ bird said, distressed.
‘But why don’t you wish to incarnate and become like me?’ Aurora asked him seriously, with genuine curiosity.
The bird held a long pause. It seemed to be considering Aurora’s suggestion. After a while, it answered just as seriously:
‘Because then I would still have to deal closely with ungrounded thoughts. And I’m pretty fed up with them. I am tired of them, you see.’
‘How strange,’ thought Aurora. ‘How can a thought become tired of thoughts?’
However, after considering it for a short while, she remembered that people can also get tired of people, so she just nodded understandingly and asked:
‘And what object would you wish to become?’
‘I’d like to become a supercar. Everyone would want to touch me, would admire me and drive me on this planet’s roads at high speed. The wind would caress my gleaming metal sides. And I, hearing its drone, would rev up even more and drive faster and faster. Or – it’d be equally great to sound-ate and become a rock hit. When a singer would sing me in their sonorous voice, everybody listening to me would get goosebumps as even their body hair would strive to hear me better,’ Aurora’s winged friend was dreamily sharing its wishes with her, its head turned to the sky and eyes closed.
‘Gosh,’ Aurora’s jaw dropped.
