The Better Together Project 2018

For the last three years, The Better Together Project has hosted a FREE Christmas party to provide companionship for elderly people in Sheffield who might otherwise be spending Christmas alone. All of our events have been hugely successful and we have had nothing but fantastic feedback from our guests that attended. One lady said that we had transported her back to the best days of her life, whilst another informed us that it was the first time that he had left his home in months. That is why with your support, we are hoping to host another event this year.

While we are still in the early stages of planning, we are hoping that the event will take place around the 23rd December. We are pleased to reveal that the boys at Food Fusion will be providing a delicious Christmas buffet yet again, which we're very excited about. As usual, we hope to provide a range of entertainment as well as free transport and gifts for all guests. We also have a freebie table at the party so that guests can stock up on food, toiletries, warm clothes, books and so on.

In order for this special event to go ahead, we need to raise approximately £2000 to cover the cost of a venue, accessible mini-buses, food, entertainment and decor. Every single penny that you contribute will go towards ensuring that our elderly guests have an amazing day that they will remember for years to come.
