A tiny, incredibly flat, and vulnerable island named Abaco in the Bahamas has been devastated from Hurricane Dorian, a category 5, 200 mph (320 kmh) beast. Abaco took a direct, and prolonged hit leaving many homeless, desperate, and in need of immediate aid. Recent aerial imagery shows catastrophic damage and the urgent need for rescue.

What we need?

We need physical boat and motor donations, radios, anchors, engine locks, fuel, fuel cans, dive masks, snorkels, fins and spears, to name a few. We need financial donations to aid our efforts in purchasing the above. Each boat with an engine and the above extras costs around $5-10,000 each, for a good, second hand set up.

What we plan to do?

We are in the process of collating and purchasing boats to be used as a rescue source, in additional to serving as a method of transporting urgent supplies to those in need. We are working with www.flytropic.com who are working alongside the Bahamian Government, nonprofits and logistics specalist www.instagram.com/bluetidemarine/

After purchase, and use ALL boats, motors, equipment and supplies will be donated to Bahamians. We aim to give these boats to fishers who lost their vessels and equipment during the hurricane. We want to give them something with longevity, something that can be used as an immediate resource to gain food.
