Kingston University graduation project, short film about facing your fears and creativity.
The story...
...follows Ella, teenage writer to be, through her inner struggles with the overwhelming feeling of being left behind. As we follow her through her day we start to see how she deals with her problems, whilst a looming animated scribble persistently tries to infiltrate into her life.
She creates another character, a personification of everything she aspires to be – confident, independent, and comfortable in her own skin. She uses this character to cope, but eventually questions whether this is the right thing to do. This results in a confrontation between the two, which causes Ella's fantasy world to turn against her.
The film will be a mixture of live action and animation to project Ella’s creative world into her reality.

Looks like a fantastic project highlighting an issue that can sometimes be brushed under the carpet as insignificant. Very apt for my youngest daughter and I have sent this to her too to contribute. Wishing you the very best with your endeavours.
