The Affordable Food Project Nottingham

Hi All!

I would like to welcome everyone to the Affordable Food Project Nottingham.

UK Supermarkets throw away at least 115,000 tonnes of perfectly good quality, edible food every year and over a third of the UK fall below the poverty line, we aim to solve both issues in one!

We are aiming to raise £15,000 to fund a catering van and the costs assosiated (Insurance, Licenses etc). We will be taking donated food and turning it into wholesome, tasty unique food and selling it on a 'Pay what you can afford' basis. The beauty of this project is that it is for everyone from any background. All customers pay optionally and discretely using the donation box.

All donators will be attributed on the plaque and will be invited to have a free lunch on our opening night.
