THE 10th PARIS GAMES /OLYMPICS 2018 – PLEASE HELP JAY DALEM MAPACPAC AND JEFFREY CALAMAYA AS THEY COMPETE SAME SEX DANCESPORT EVENT IN PARIS FRANCE

I am Jay Dalem Mapacpac, a Filipino sampaguita vendor before and my partner Jeffrey Calamaya a street children before who competes to different Latin Dance Sport Competitions. I was a gold medalist to various dance competitions in the Philippines which include the Ateneo Open Dance Sport Championship, UP Diliman Dance Sport Competition, 21st National Dance sport Championship grade d and as bronze medalist at the 2nd Filipinas Dance International Competition. My partner is also an achiever as Showtime and Talentandong Pinoy Grand Finalist, DSCPI National Youth Latin Champion and recently won in Wowowin DUbBidap Challenge. We were also invited to different TV Guesting in GMA Network such as Wowowin and Eat BUlaga Jackpot en Poy segment. We also recognized by the city of Antipolo. All these were accomplished through hard work and dedication.

The Paris Gay Games 2018 is a competition held every four years that advocates a society for all diversity. This year, Paris will be hosting the 10th edition of the upcoming Games. This competition will expectedly be participated by 15 000 participants from over 90 countries. It is supported by the highest French institutional and sporting bodies, PARIS 2018 prepares games celebrating diversity, respect, equality, solidarity and sharing. Me and My partner have given the opportunity to represent the Philippines in Open Male Latin and Show dance Category. The Same Sex Dance sport Category will be held at Gymnase Japy Paris on August 4-12, 2018.

However, the cost for entry fee, Plane ticket, visa, accommodation and other necessities such as dancing shoes, and costumes for the competition are unfortunately too high for us to provide. I, Jay dalem mapacpac and my partner jeffrey Calamaya are humbly looking for financial assistance and/or sponsorship from local businesses within the community. We sincerely appreciate whatever help you can extend to us. If we were to win this competition, it would significantly bring pride to our country and would definitely promote the tourism, sports and arts and culture of the Philippines. And our sports in Dance sport will be recognized worldwide. We as a STREET CHILDREN and SAMPAGUITA VENDOR have also an advocacy to the Filipino youth that life status is not a hindrance to achieve your dreams as long as you have your passion and heart to what you’re doing.

Our goal is to represent the LGBTQ of the philippines and to show the world how talented filipino are we. As an athlete we want to inspire filipino people specially the LGBTQ and the dancesport enthusiast to continue the sport that they love and a motivation to whatever a circumstances we will be represent the philippines someday.
