Thanya’s quest to pursuing her dreams at IMTA 2020

My name is Thanya Venter. I’m 16 years old from South Africa and I ask of you to please read and consider the following thoughtfully.

I am a talented actress and model and up until now I did not have the chance to showcase my talent to the world. I have been invited to attend the International Modeling and Talent Association taking place in New York, July 2020. I have the opportunity to represent South Africa on an international level which is a huge opportunity that no one with the chance should ever miss out on.

In order for me to afford taking part in this amazing opportunity I am going to take on many part time jobs and also attempt making and selling things. I will work hard, but these attempts shall still not be enough to cover the full amount. Therefor, in addition to these, I ask of you to support my dreams and help by donating an amount of your choice. Any amount will help and will be deeply appreciated.

I will convince you why I stand out above the rest and why you should help me achieve my dreams. Firstly I am extremely driven and motivated. I WILL use this opportunity to not only chase my dreams but to achieve them. I am 99% certain that I shall fulfill my destiny of becoming a well known artist, and the only 1% I need is your faith and belief in me. I am not the type of person to give up... EVER. Don’t believe me? Ask my grandpa, and grandparents never lie.

Next, unlike some individuals, I am extremely hardworking and have been working for this opportunity my entire life. Now I’m just waiting for my hard work to pay off.

Last(but most certainly not least), I am not doing this for the fame. I genuinely have a passion for what I am doing and want to use future money I receive to help raise awareness to the dangers in our country and strive for our country to become safer and equal among all individuals, regardless the race, sex, age or ethnicity.

My parents work extremely hard for me to pursue my passion, but physically do not have the money for me to showcase my talent in New York.
