I have no clue where to start. My husband and I recently moved from beautiful California to St Louis Mo. I am a native of California never lived anywhere else and my husband is from St Louis. We were struggling financially in California but we were happy. My husband was told of a business opportunity in St Louis that would be beneficial to us and assist us with our financial issues. We packed up and moved to St Louis with the dream in mind that we will finally be able to live comfortably. This has not been the case the business opportunity did not come through and we are as unhappy and struggling even more than we were in California. There are several factors that is making this situation even harder. I left my mother whom is a double amputee, brother, grandmother and my two sons. I have no family here in St Louis other than my husbands family (whom is amazing and I love them), but I feel empty without my mother and sons.
We also have a 4 year old and a 12 year, my 12 year old is having a hard time with the move not only because she misses her friends, grandmother and brothers but also how dangerous the schools are here. She has received bullying from kids at her school, they tell her she thinks she’s better than them because she is from California. My daughter was a outgoing young lady she now keeps to herself and has found it very hard to find friends. We have to move before she starts High School for I truly fear the worst with her attending any school in the area we currently live in.
I thank everyone in advance for anything that you can do to assist my family in getting back to California so that I can be with my family and make a better living for my children and myself.
God Bless, and if no one have told you lately that you are special then let me be the first" I love you and you are special keep your head up"
