Thailand 2015!

Hey everybody! I have recently been accepted to participate overseas in a volunteer and leadership program with EDventure. EDventure is a volunteer organization which offers participants leadership and personal development certification, whilst engaging in meaningful volunteer projects in the developing world. I will be travelling with EDventure as a volunteer assisting in humanitarian and conservation projects within Thailand.  During my program, I will spend 3 weeks engaging in leadership development workshops with other volunteers, while applying these skills directly to efforts in wildlife sanctuaries and rural schools in Thailand. I am fundraising to help pay for my program's costs.  Through my efforts abroad, I will be directly involved in creating positive change and providing direct support within Thailand. While working in classrooms and conservation efforts, I will teach groups of children reading and writing skills, art, and organize sports and group activities while in addition helping care for wildlife, such as endangered elephants, and learning firsthand about environmental issues that affect us on a global scale. While assisting in Thailand, I will have direct contact with community members and community leaders, while also engaging in local cultural activities. This will help me to expand my international network, to understand the local communities and to build bridges with another culture that will further develop my global leadership skills. Any amount you would be willing to donate towards my EDventure Program would be greatly appreciated.
