Tha Rawk Music Venue -2013

We are an all ages music venue in Shelbyville, IN that has been in operation since 2011 started by a then 16 year old with no musical training. Since then, we have had over 20 concerts and all have been free to the public. That is one of our goals is to provide positive entertainment free to our community - especially under 30 - while providing bands with a new audience. We are located between Cincinnati & Indianapolis and some bands have been to go into the other market (Cinti to Indy) by starting at our place. Genres include hardcore, rap, acoustic and hard rock.

Our need is to provide for our summer show with 2 stages and over 30 bands. Some are traveling from 6-10 hours and want gas money to perform their ministry. We are not a 501(c)3, yet and don't have the money for the application. Also, our need to buy own sound equipment so that we don't have to rely on the host's equipment.
