Campaign Story
We humbly request the help on textbooks and computer, so that we may be able to help these poor children here to achieve there dreams, as the school we help them by giving food and accommodation but textbooks and computer laboratory has become a big challenge for us. please come to our aid in this situation. we are living in the remote area of kajiado ,Masai land, we do help people around and the students of this school.Nori Mixed boarding Secondary School is situated in Kajiado County which bounders the Makueni County. Kajiado original people are the Masai who usually speak the (Maa) language. The Masai normally keep cattle, sheep and goats and some do farming also.
Kajiado climate is many times hot and fine weather. The Maasai tribe (or Masai) is a unique and popular tribe due to their long preserved culture and are peaceful people.
Maasai culture facts
. The Maasai believe God has given them all cattle in the world.
. They believe in one God named Enkai or Engai.
. The Maasai tribe is also schooled in English and Swahili.
. The Maasai wear colour red because it symbolizes their culture and they believe it scares away lion
In Makueni County are the Kamba people, who are farmers. Their land is small compared to their population they normally work on their small farms to get food and keep one or two cows for milk.
Both tribes live in peace and help one another when in need.
