Larchfield Kids
Larchfield was launched as a CSR project by the law firm James Berry & Associates in 2012. Its objective is to serve the desperate plight of the increasing number of Tanzanian orphans, to provide them with a refuge, a balanced diet, access to healthcare and good education so they can grow and develop as happy children in a safe, nurturing and loving environment.
The project that Larchfield is currently focusing on is to construct and operate an orphanage in Tanzania (details are attached). Construction work began two years ago and Larchfield have completed Phase 1 where 60 orphans can now reside and thrive. When all phases are complete, it will accommodate up to 300 orphans. Whilst the charity has been very fortunate so far in raising the funds, in order to successfully complete Phase 1 and allow the orphans to transition to their new home, more financial assistance is needed.
Larchfield is an international combination of three charities all working together under the same name, each of which are regulated by statute in the U.K., the U.S.A and in Tanzania where the Larchfield community is based and the support is required. Larchfield stands for best practice and it focuses on all round care, education and organic agriculture.
