Introduction:

ROL TENNIS ACADEMY Is an initiative tennis program with the Inspirational history of lawn tennis in Uganda which promotes determination and courage to both privileged and under privileged Children, Youth and including Adults with Specialization in Tennis Development Programs in the community ( “KEEPING TENNIS ALIVE”) operating independently.

Back ground

We have always had passion for tennis teaching since its founding in 2012. We have given tennis lessons for a while and organized clinics, camps, competitions and tennis tournaments, we use our skills and experience to involve and coach new aspiring tennis players perfect their game.

How did we get in contact / connection?

Through our academy page www.facebook.com/roltennis, a lady club member at Cf tennis academy by names of Ms. Gail Thompson an Africa American Architect visited our facebook page and loved the activities there, therefore connecting us to Mr. Joel ihonre a Nigerian and club manager at that academy who asks me a couple of questions and how they can assist our tennis initiative program.

Donations for 3years down the road (2016 - 2018)

1) Acquiredequipment donations from CF tennis academy Dubai December 2018

We haven’t been able to raise funds to clear the items as yet.

2)Acquired equipment donations from CF tennis academy Dubai December 2017

Through my connections with Uganda Cricket Association, the Manager Ladies Cricket team while on tour with ladies, helped to bring the items through different languages of players, therefore surviving taxes

3)Acquired equipment donations from CF tennis academy Dubai November 2016

Through one of the parents now, living in Dubai managed to collect the items herself gave the items to an agent friend in to Dubai who shipped via a consolidate container.

But this time round, she was on a vacation to help us out hence the troubles we are facing now to pay taxes.

There are no terms and conditions for the equipment’s donations, only for us to always find away collecting them from their academy in Dubai and shipping them. that’s all
