Campaign Story
This is Upington Tennis Club, Northern Cape, South Africa. This used to be a very active and social club. Families of the community gathered here to participate in Junior and senior tournaments, social events, family events, etc.
Coaches used to be very active here BUT over the years the club has deteriorated so much that it is in no usable condition.As tennis coaches ourselves, we struggle to find facilities that we can use to develop the younger generation in our community.
We see Upington Tennis club as a facility with so much potential but due to lack of finances, this club is dormant.
We would like to change this for the good and bring the club back to "life" again. For this to happen, we need funding to resurface the 5 tennis courts, as well as upgrading the fencing and club house.
These changes will bring the Upington Tennis community back together again.
