我正在幫一位埃及的朋友為這個15歲的男孩約瑟(Yousef)籌措醫療費用。
約瑟為了幫忙單親的媽媽掙錢養家(爸爸很久前就過世)，暑假期間離鄉到度假勝地胡爾蓋達(Hurghada)的一家咖啡店打工。約瑟於8/10那天在幫顧客準備咖啡，被滾燙的沸水燙得滿身，屬二級燙傷，須住院治療一個月。
在埃及，沒有所謂的健保，上醫院對一般人民而言，簡直是種奢侈，一般人是付不起的。照片中的病房。是"特殊病床"!! 一天的住院費是300埃幣，等於564元台幣。
對我們來說真的是小錢，但對貧窮的埃及人而言，卻是大錢。
