I am raising money because I have been diagnosed with non Hodgkin's lymphoma. I was waking up in the middle of the night with drenchful night sweats. I contacted my family doctor and asked did he think I needed to up my estridol for hormones because I had a hysterectomy back in 2003. He immediately wanted me to have blood work done. Blood work came back bad twice. He referred me to my oncologist which since then in the past few weeks I have had a CT, pet scan, tons of blood work, and surgery to take out lymph nodes to test. Not to mention a rash that the lymphoma has developed all over my body that is very painful to deal with on a daily basis. So my oncologist called me in with a plan of starting chemo next Wednesday and Thursday. I will receive the treatment 2 days a week every four weeks and 6 rounds. It's going to be a long journey and my husband Chris is being the biggest supporter here where we live. All my family is back home in SC, NC, and NM. Friends in AZ and other states so we have internet support and a few close friends here in town and Chris' Dad and step mom. He has his hands full for sure. We've only been married a few short 5 months known each other for almost 4 years. I love him dearly and can't thank him enough for taking care of me like he vowed to! He is going to take off work to join me at my treatments plus work and I will continue my job as well. Both of our jobs support what we are fixing to go through and are extremely understanding. We can't be thankful enough to feel like people at our job is more family then co-workers. And to top off all my medical problems we have 2 dogs almost 11 years old. Cooper is having a issue throwig up all the time and the vet has put him on acid reflux meds and Sam has 6 kidney stones and has to have surgery on Tuesday and it will cost $1500. We just can't catch a break. We don't like asking others for help but if it's for a good cause I'm all for it. Please share this and do what you can do and for sure keep us in your prayers if nothing else.
