Team Victorious raising money for the homeless

Hello,

We are NCS Team 5.
For our social action project, we are passionate about helping our local community and one issue that is close to our hearts is homelessness. We see homeless people in Nottingham every single day and we all feel that in these 2 weeks we should do something personal to help these vulnerable members of our society.

Our main idea is to renovate a homeless shelter or community centre in Nottingham that supports homeless people. We are currently in the means of approving this plan. The money raised from this page will go towards materials which will help bring this plan to life. For us, a beautiful mural or newly furnished room - we believe will really have an impact on these people and make a difference. We promise that the money will go solely to helping and supporting our project.

If this plan cannot happen due to logistical reasons - another idea is to make boxes with supplies such as toiletries which are desperately needed in emergency and non-emergency accommodation for those who have been made homeless.

During our social action week we will be working with a charity; this could be either Framework (based in Nottingham) or Shelter - both esteemed charities that are helping our society abolish homelessness.

At the end of the day, we are just a group of teenagers who have a desire to change our community for the better - we hope you can help us achieve our vision.
