Team “The Children’s Garden” for Shanghai Marathon 2014

TEAM 'THE CHILDREN'S GARDEN' - SHANGHAI MARATHON 2014

The Children's Garden was established in 2013 to help medically fragile children from rural China get medical treatment and support in Shanghai.  The Children's Garden has 3 distinct programs:

• One Less Orphan by keeping families together: Provides medical attention and logistical support for indigent rural families caring for their sick child.
  
• The Children's Corner: Hospital visits, encouragement and practical support to rural families who are in Renji Hospital for extended periods of time.
• Recovery Home: Home for 4-7 orphans from rural China who are pre/post surgery, providing clean loving environment while getting extended medical attention.

Team 'The Children's Garden' is a group of runners participating in the 2014 Shanghai Marathon on November 2nd, there are various events that the team will run in including the full marathon, the half marathon, 10km and 5km fun run.

All funds raised for this project will go directly towards supporting The Childrens Garden Recovery Home for Orphans to fund basic needs, such as baby formula & food, diapers, nannies and housing. All donations are greatly appreciated.
