Team Michael: Treatment and Hospital Bills

My dear friends! My son Michael Angelo Mueca, or Mike as his friends call him, has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in the later part of January 2016 and is still undergoing treatment.

Mike is 24 years old. His ministry in the church as part of the music team and his work as a restaurant manager has been stopped due to his sickness. For the past 10 months of treatment from chemotherapy and radiation therapy; then a transplant procedure, he is now recovering as a post bone marrow transplant patient.

But his right eye was blinded due to cancer cells that "escaped", as told by the doctor, that blocked the optic nerve of his right eye. He immediately underwent 13 sessions of cranial/conventional radiation therapy and is still in need of series of treatments.

Our hospital bills are increasing. Mike is still in the hospital. The doctor said Mike can go home and all treatments can be done as outpatient. Our funding is already drained and our property has been sold and yet we are still not able to settle his medical bills.

We thank you for all your prayers and support. All these mean alot to him and to our family. We are appealing for financial support and we highly appreciate any amount that can help in settling his medical bills and treatments.
