Campaign Story
The family and friends of Eddie Robbins are uniting to raise money toward Stem Cell Therapy to help with his battle against Chronic Systolic Heart Failure, Hypertension, and Coronary Artery Disease (CAD). Please show your support!
Our courageous and spirited fighter of a husband, father, grandfather, brother and son; Eddie Robbins has been diagnosed with Chronic Heart Failure, Hypertension, and Coronary Artery Disease (CAD). He has already overcome death defying obstacles such as quadruple bypass (fall of 2012), where we were given a prognosis of him surviving the procedure to be that of a widow maker. Our strong-willed, Eddie survived and maintains in his path of determination and optimism to prevail in his battle against heart disease/failure and this is where you come in. Eddie has exhausted all conventional therapy, is on maximal medication, has a very low ejection fraction, missed meeting the requirements for heart transplant by a few points, and is currently in a position of stalemate. We need your support to help with costs toward Stem Cell Therapy treatments.
We have been diligently seeking alternatives to further improve his health and/or possibly heal him of his conditions and have been researching Stem Cell Therapy treatment options. As this can be a costly procedure we began seeking for open and available Stem Cell Therapy trials. Recently, after our searches and inquiries kept returning negative results, a trial was found with the Scripps Clinic, which contacted us and informed us of an open trial. We are very delighted and overly enthusiastic to share that through their assistance we have been able to connect with a facility closer to our home state. This hospital believes Eddie is the right type of candidate for their Stem Cell Therapy trial and promptly initiated the process to get Eddie accepted into the trial, which will either utilize stem cells harvested from fat (adipose) or from that of bone marrow.
This amazingly positive feedback toward acceptance into the trial has all taken place within the past week of 06/24/2013. We are expecting to receive full details disclosing all the specifics very soon, so we can share this information with you. Until then, we are currently estimating at least a minimum of one week for the initial evaluation, then time for the actual trial, and multiple returning visits with this entire Stem Cell Therapy trial taking place out of state. There is also the potential need to help cover ongoing costs for medicines and supplements and we will inform you of this information as it becomes available to us. With this wonderful blessing that Eddie has been presented with we need your help to ensure that he can make it to the trial and that any associated costs are covered. In the event of a worst case scenario, us receiving notification that Eddie's acceptance into the trial is declined. We will continue to ask for your support and donations in hopes to raise enough funds to cover a non-trial Stem Cell Therapy treatment option which can range from 15K-30K+ just for the treatment. Please find it in your heart to show support as every little bit truly helps.
We thank you for your compassion, giving, and support! GO TEAM EDDIE! The Robbins Family
Additionally, we would like to share an amazing book we were blessed with titled Reverse Heart Disease Now, as it has provided us with knowledge and insight into supplements that have the potential to help reverse and prevent heart disease. We have been able to maintain keeping Eddie on a good portion of the supplements listed on page 208 in the book, if you would like to see what his current supplement list looks like. We did run all the supplements by his cardiologist to make sure there weren't any unforeseen complications with his current prescribed medications and received clearance. We ask that you read this book if you get an opportunity to do so. Please, pass this book information along to someone else you might know or cross paths with ~ as it might have potential to help them or someone else they know as well.
