What is APTTAcraft?

APTTAcraft is a minecraft server especially designed for children on the autistic spectrum and children who have ADHD. It is to give these children somewhere safe to play with their friends and family away from bullies and the fear of griefing and nastiness in a controled environment. APTTAcraft is run by Amanda who is an autism mum and runs a support group and website (www.aplacetotalkaboutautismandadhd.co.uk) The server is monitored by herself and her partner and also other admins who are either parents or have autism themselves.

APTTAcraft started out in August 2013. The server grew slowly from a handful of UK players until one day we had many requests from children all over the world.The main countries are UK, USA, Canada and Australia. We have children from as young as 5 playing and creating amazing builds bringing out their creative side. The players have made great friends with each other meaning at last they can feel they have friends and are liked for who they are.The children have even started group builds off their own backs, including many of the players making them feel welcome and worth something.

The challenge

Cjclowmummy (Amanda) and oO_THE_ONE_Oo (Mark) are taking on the challenge of a 24 hour survival minecraft marathon! Along with players coming on and joining in. This will be the biggest team build ever on APTTA. Yes we are mad haha 24 hours split between 2 people is a lot of hours staring at a screen but its soooo worth it :) We are asking to be sponsored to do this to raise money for the servers up keep. We are doing this to also celebrate APTTAcrafts 1st birthday and celebraing a whole year of awesomeness.
