Teaching English in Nepal!

In August I plan on travelling to Nepal for a month to teach English at a Buddhist Monastery.

Nepal is home to Tibetan and Nepali monks. Despite their peaceful traditions the Buddhist community remains a marginalised group in society due foreign affairs in the 20th century.

Learning English for young monks is of paramount importance. As well as the spiritual significance of learning, the English language enables them to communicate with the outside world therefore develop relationships with other communities as well as benefit their individual prospects later in life

Personally, I can't wait for August to come round. However, this does come at a cost. Whilst I am already saving every penny, I hope you sympathise with the fact that being a student isn't a rich lifestyle! (cue violin). Any donation small or large is greatly received!
