Teaching Deaf Children to Read in Zimbabwe (Africa)

I've been given the opportunity to travel to Bolowayo, Zimbabwe (South Africa) to join a team of very passionate English literature degree students to teach deaf kids how to write and read in English and providing books and access to books to as many kids up to 2000 locals, including children, teens and adults who are marginalized or living on the fringe of society. Children with disabilities are among the most marginalized people in Zimbabwe, and their disabilities put them at an increased risk of poverty.
