Short SummaryHi all My name is John Shaw and I live in Namibia. It is semi arid climate and desert. I want to change the way people look at agriculture and producing food in a desert, or rather change there thought that you can not produce food sustainably in the middle of the desert. I was close to nature my whole life and as a result end up n the food industry. Living in a dry desert water was always close to our hearts. I never stoped wondering how to make a difference. There had to be a way to not compete for land, water and resourses between people and agriculture. After 20 odd years in the food and Fmcg and retail industry i now want to do something i always wanted to. The technology over the ladt 10 years progressed to a stage that it is now possible. I want to build a greenhouse in the desert and not use any current fresh water that are supplied by municipality or electricity from the grid. This greenhouse must be off the grid and 100% self reliance and suficient. It will use seawater. I want to use the greenhouse to teach unemployed woman how to run such a greenhouse and use this greenhouse as the proof of concept and training facility. I believe that if you want to feed a nation you help the woman. No, i am not totaly crazy. Ohh btw this greenhouse will also produce at least 10 months per year and maybe even year round. Hows that. Not thumb sucking, can be done. I just need the money to do it. the money that i raise here i will use to secure a loan to build the greenhouse, unless this wonderful comunity will help me by raising the about 350 000 us$ needed to build the greenhouse.    Thank you so so much for your time and effort
