It will be utilised and accounted for to the Ngati Manu Marae Committee by the Ngati Manu Working Party: Aunty Jane Davis, Hon Davis – Tautari, Judy Te Tai, Suz Te Tai, Meretini Wynyard, Arapeta Hamilton, Phillip Bristowe Wynyard, Arnold Maunsell and any other Ngati Manu whanau who wish to tautoko this kaupapa. Ngati Manu kaupapa: Ngati Manu Te Tiriti o Waitangi Claims work Mahurangi Claims (Pomare Whanau) Environment Court – Pipiroa Bay Organisation of Te Ra o Pomare Ngati Manu Hapu Management Planning Takutai Moana Roopu Tirarau, Pomare & Kawiti Alliance RMA (Resource Management Act) kaupapa Te Mauriora o te Awa Tapu o Taumarere -       A Research Programme to determine the Mauri o the awa There is a lot of working going on in the back ground and more and more we require the expertise of Lawyers, Scientists, Marine Biologists and Historians (to name a few). One of our greatest challenges right now is finding the funding to pay for this expertise, and while there are funding applications for some of this work, it rarely covers costs.  Therefore, we are calling for all Ngati Manu whanau to contribute to this fund that can be utilised for this mahi, mahi that is for us all and for future generations. Whatever contribution big or small will be gratefully accepted.  The success of this kaupapa will rely heavily on us all playing a part, talking with our whanau, sharing the weight of this mahi and the financial costs.
