TBI Patient Needs Help With Dental Implants & Bills/Former Broad Ripple High School Student

My name is Eugene Brookins, and I am needing help with my bills, and my dental implants. I already have a dentist to perform my reconstructive surgery on my gums. I was 16 years old when I was in an automobile accident and was in a coma for 4 months. I only had a 2% chance to live, 98% Dead. I was a student at, Broad Ripple High School, and had just been invited to play football, 4 hours before my accident, by the Principal himself, Mr. Larry McCloud. I have lost out on my younger years of my life. I wanted to play football all my life. I LOVE the COLTS and had an invitation mailed to me, out of the blue, to be a permanent fan, but before I could input my information into the computer at the library, I had to use the rest room and left the post card on the desk. Unfortunately, I walk with a walker now, and due to my brain injury, I did not think to put the post card in my pocket. When I returned, it was gone, Hurt again! My mother is my caregiver and she spends all her time helping me. She manages to pay her bills, and help me, but I am left with little next to nothing I only receive $735. a month from SSI. After the Medicaid cuts, I am limited to what Medicaid covers. unfortunately for me, it does not cover teeth replacement. It is very hard on me to live my life, for I am teased when going to school to try to earn my GED, it really is a hurtful feeling. I was a positive person with goals of playing for the Colts and going to school to become an Electronic Engineer. I was not a trouble child. I was employed at Taco Bell for about a year and a half before my accident and kept my grades up. I was invited to play football by the Principal at Broad Ripple, personally.

I am asking for help so I can become a productive and influential person in other teens lives, as I now want to be a speaker to educate children on listening to your Parents, obeying them. Rebellion is a small word but holds heavy weight. I can only become that with your help. I am afraid in doing so, because of my teeth. I cannot smile or talk to people for you can see my pain, not only in my teeth, but also deep in my heart. I had beautiful teeth before my accident, Now, I'm afraid to even be seen or engage in any conversations. Feeling I will only be teased.... Again.
