Low Income family desperatly need a car

The Taylor family are a family of fighters, and have never needed strangers help. However this time, they do. Their 22 year old family car needs to be fixed under the order of the police. It is nearly had its last run. The family are considered low income earners, which puts their income on less than $30,000 a year, and have to rely on the government to help live. The father was assulted at work one day, and was sacked back in 2008. The mother has a mental illness and needs medication, but has to work two days as her husband cannot find a job due to age. They have two teenagers 14 and 17 who have to take on the stress of the many tough ordeals not many kids go through. There has been times where the mother has become suicidal, and the children have to watch their wonderful mother upset. She is strong, but the car has been the most stressful.

But its not only the car troubles they faced. The amount of debt from fixing the car has piled up, including vet bills, that if the car hadnt been ordered off the road, could have been paid. The mother also has diabetes, which requires a car to take her to hospital (because they have no private health cover, there may be a large cost for ambulane).

So what is being asked is $3000 for repairs, or for a second-hand car to ease the stress on this family that has been trailing them for years. Thank-you for your time
