Taxi avoidance

Hey folks so wee bit of a dilema ! Now for the last year ive been getting the first train to work ! because there isnt a bus anymore that gets me in on time :( , So ive been told I cant do this anymore so I now have to pay £55 every sunday shift , Now with a week before payday I have the choice to make this sunday ? Eat for the week or starve and get a taxi to work !!!!! Now you see my dilema it takes more than half my days pay to get to work in a taxi , Like i sad after allowing me to do this for a year then just telling me it has to stop and this weekend i need to get in for the start time , Im not a charity case but im needing help for this one ,   thanks for reading folks
