Tatay Carlito’s Heart

2013- When Tatay Carlito had his first heart attack. He was brought by our community ambulance from Bataan (where they live) to The Medical City in Pasig. The Doctor suggested that he has to undergo Coronary Angiogram but due to financial constraint we weren't able to let him have the said operation. But he was able to buy his maintenance medications and have his quarterly check up by means of working as a jeepney driver.

2018- Recently, Tatay had his heart attack again. Was admitted to The Medical City Telemetry for further monitoring. The Doctors given him the necessary care and treatment. The discharge diagnosis was Heart Failure with Reduced Ejection Fraction Secondary to Dilated Cardiomyopathy. His doctor had given us 1month for the surgery which is the CRT insertion (Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy, a treatment for heart failure ). Failure to do the said surgery may cause his health to deteriorate.

The rest of our family are knocking on your hearts to please help us for the procedure needed by my father. As a single Mom my income is not enough to sustain the needed fund.
