Campaign Story
‘The Magazine’ is envisaged as quarterly printed in and circulated from Kathmandu, Nepal. The publication is meant to facilitate a more empathetic intra-regional dialogue to emerge in South Asia, one that celebrates cultural resonances while respecting the differences among each of the nine countries. South Asia is gaining more and more relevance as a region in the context of global politics, and ‘The Magazine’ will be reporting and analysing political, socio-economic and cultural issues with a focus on geopolitics and geopsychology of the region. Leading intellectuals and experts have already shown interest in contributing and we are building up a steadily growing pool of possible contributors. The highest standards of editing and ethics will be maintained. As we are also committed towards making it an independent, non-partisan publication that will be pro-human and pro-environment. And so we realize that crowd-funding is the best source for starting off ‘The Magazine’, so as to remain independent and not be driven by corporate or political interests.
