Tashi’s sponsored knit

My name is Tash and in July 2020 I am hoping to go to Uganda with my school (Littleover Community School) in conjunction with charity Child Africa. We work with a large school in Africa and each year pupils from our school go out and assist with many projects to enhance and improve the school. In previous years we have installed a well providing access to clean water, built a wall securing the perimeter of the school, prepared and irrigated a vegetable garden and this year we will be providing a hard standing paved area and paths. In order for me to go on this trip I need to raise nearly £2,000 and so I am asking you to sponsor me to knit for those in need making blankets for young, vulnerable, female patients via Hamlin Fistula UK who provide vital treatment for young women in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. A £5 donation will equal a blanket square and each blanket needs 42 squares so please support me to support them. I have a group of supportive knitters to help source donations of wool and to help me knit. Thank you!
