Long story short - The past 11 days I have been in and out of Intensive Care with anaphylactic reactions to no known trigger. I stopped breathing at one point and things have been pretty tough- Unfortunately because of this my hair is falling out in large clumps and by next week I will have no hair.

SO. Instead of staying in bed feeling sorry for myself I have decided to do something about it!

I am going to shave my hair off and donate what is left to The Little Princesses Trust which is a charity which uses hair to make wigs for children with cancer, I am also asking for donations through this page. I'm not using the money for any personal expenses, to cover medication fees or anything like that but for a foam pit in my gymnastics club.

Not your average fundraiser I know, but my club, The Wire Gymnastics is currently fundraising for a foam pit and I want to help as much as I can. The money donated on this page will help pay towards it and will be something that both myself and my teammates will benefit from for years to come and it will make a real difference to our training.

My club is so supportive of myself as a disability gymnast and it is only through their understanding and support that I was able to take the no.1 title only 15 weeks out of intensive care.

Please help me, help others.

Thankyou xx

*UPDATE*

Wow, I can't actually believe this page has hit over £400. I am so overwhelmed by everyone's generosity. So I am now officially bald! After shaving my head on Saturday I had a short stubble, however now all of that has fallen out so it's a little cold! I'm still definitely not used to it, but I am hoping I will adjust soon.

On Monday I travel down to Leicester to have a bone marrow biopsy which I am a little nervous about. I'm allergic to the pain relief that's given so it certainly not going to be a pleasant experience but I know it need's to be done to be able to move forward with treatment.

  • Natasha you are a very inspirational young woman, it's so good to see nothing can keep you down. With it all going on you still find time to help others. So here's a small gesture from me to help you carry on with these great things you do.
