TARZAN: CURSE OF THE MUMMY

We came up with the idea of doing a "Conan-Style" Egyptian themed Mummy short film about Tarzan going on a rescue mission to save Jane who has been abducted by rebels during a missionary expedition in a remote area in Egypt and is held hostage inside a newly discovered pyramid which happens to be secretly guarded by mummies. Then the rescue attempt goes wrong and Tarzan is captured and gets mummified. The only way to break the spell is to defeat Anubis.

As film industry professionals we have established a film production company called TWIN OAK FILMS in South Africa and during the past 5years has written, produced and directed numerous short films which generated 20 Million views with almost 60,000 subscribers on YouTube!

We recently got permission from ERB Inc., to screen a Tarzan short film at the SUNDANCE and CANNES Film Festival in 2020 and other festivals as well as sending it to the Ellen DeGeneres show.Tarzan: Curse of the Mummy will be the new short film which we are filming in January 2020 and would really like to have you involved as an associate producer with any kind of contribution.

LOCATIONS:

We’re going to shoot on various locations around Cape Town, South Africa such as sand dunes, underground tunnels and the Cango Caves to represent the scary pyramid interiors along with camels and the 1600’s Castle of Good Hope. The rest of the locations will be based in the Cape Town surroundings such as the dunes situated in Atlantis were big Hollywood movies has been filmed such as the latest Scorpion King: Book of souls starring Pearl Thusi and Zach McGowan. Camels will also be used via animal wranglers who we became acquainted with on earlier films sets.

During the past few years we have been featured in the media around the globe such as NETFLIX, BBC, ABC, NBC & SABC, ETV, ZDF German TV, Japanese TV shows, newspapers and websites worldwide ranging from Germany, Sweden, Belgium, China, Japan, Vietnam, Canada, USA with radio interviews from Australia, New Zealand to Ireland regarding Hollywood’s next Tarzan. We’re also very well acquainted with the president of Edgar Rice Burroughs Inc., Jim Sullos in Tarzana, California, USA.
