Tarlov cysts (hereafter referred to as TCs) are also known asperineural/perineurial, or sacral nerve root cysts. They are dilations of the nerve root sheaths and are abnormal sacs filled with cerebrospinal fluid (hereafter referred to as CSF) that can cause a progressively painful radiculopathy (nerve pain).
I am reaching your hands. I want to finish my burden and pray that one day somebody may help me reaching the amount for my open surgery. I know God always hear our prayers. I thank you for a little amount which is a big help for me. I am begging you to help me, the pain is so intense. Please.. God bless us all.
I went to the hospital for medical treatment last June 2017 because I can not stand for the pain everyday. Every Doctor I've met, referred me to another Doctor till I reached Orthopedic section. From there, the Doctor told me that it was nothing, just a back pain. So he gave me a pain killer (steroid) for temporary pain reliever. But after few days, pain comes back then continuous for a week, then two, then long period of time.
I went back to the hospital for another check-up because I also felt that there's like a baloon inside everytime I sit, then I insisted to go for MRI. When the MRI result released, it was found out out that I have a Tarlov Cyst disease in left sacral region and an incidental findings of anterior wall intramural Fibroid in my uterus (number of fibroid was not specified).
The result was not explained well to me. He just mentioned about my fibroid and commented like this: "Im sorry we can not resolve your problem for your back pain". Then he just prescribed me a temporary painkiller. I was so deppressed when I heard his comment.
So I started searching through internet about Tarlov Cyst disease and fibroid in uterus which I was very eager to know what was going on, why the Doctor did not tell me the truth.
Nowadays, I'm suffering from intense pain in my lower back as well as pelvic region. I can't walk anymore, because I feel so heavy in my lower back . I am a sole provider of my family. I dont have much savings to afford the surgery. I searched in the internet about the cost and found out that it is so expensive. My health insurance did not cover the surgery.
I already resigned from my job, I can not work anymore because of this rare disease that I am suffering right now. May God bless us all.
